Bahrain 1 Racing Confident In Run Up To Qatar championship
GBCORP underlines its encouragement to the team and sport
Global Banking Corporation B.S.C (GBCORP) one of the lead sponsors of the Bahrain 1 Racing team confirmed their ongoing encouragement for the team as they look to continue their winning ways at the upcoming round of the third round of the Qatar championship being held on the 16th & 17th April 2009 at the Qatar Race Club.
Following their outstanding performance during the 4th round of the Bahrain Drag Championship held at the Bahrain International Circuit, GBCORP is confident of the team’s chances at the next round of the GCC drag racing circuit. During the Qatar second round, Bahrain 1 team got the Middle East record and the second fastest time in the Pro Extreme category with ¼ Mile ET of 5.825 and speed of 246.82 MPH.

"We believe this is also a good opportunity to highlight our joint involvement with a special cause, which is to promote autism awareness through the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral and Communication Difficulties, where part of the race profits will be donated," he added.
