Babyshop strengthens presence in the UAE
Launches its 21st store in the UAE and 91st in the region on 4th August 2009
Babyshop, region’s leading retailer in the category of children’s products, further strengthened its retail network with the launch of a new store in the western region of Abu Dhabi at City Mall in the town of Madinat Zayed. The store was officially inaugurated recently by Rashid Mohammad Al Falahi in the presence of Mr. Mohammad Thardabil, general manager, City Mall and Mr. Troy Zünckel, general manager, Babyshop UAE, amongst much enthusiasm and joy.
The multi-brand format of Babyshop caters to several needs of children including fashion, toys, games, education, nursery furniture, baby essentials amongst others. Its varied product ranges boast several brands including Juniors, Barbie, Disney, Lee Cooper in fashion, Ferrari and Maclaren in car seats to name just a few from the long list. The store is currently stocked with its vast `Back To School` range which Babyshop launched recently as well as its vibrant ‘Fun in the Sun’ Spring-Summer fashion collection.
“Reiterating our commitment to reach out to maximum customers, we decided to mark footprints in the Western region of Abu Dhabi at City Mall. This is our fourth store in Abu Dhabi. We have always strived to become increasingly accessible to our customers and in turn our customers have supported us wholeheartedly by shopping enthusiastically at our new stores. The mutual bond with our customers has encouraged us to open new stores characterized by a child-friendly shopping environment,” added Mr. Zünckel.
Babyshop now boasts of 21 stores in the UAE and 91 stores in the Middle East.
