The well-known painter Farid Belkahia’s exhibition, which was organized by the Ministry of Culture, will take place from 20 September until 30 October at Bab Rouah Gallery, Rabat. E-marrakech reports that the exhibition will be inaugurated by Mohamed Achaari, the Moroccan Minister of Culture, in the presence of famous figures of art circle.
Born in Marrakech in 1934, Belkahia studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris between 1954 and 1959. Then he moved to Prague and enrolled at the Institute of Theatre between 1959 and 1962. After his return to Morocco, he became the director of Fine Arts in Morocco and a leading figure of contemporary modern art in Morocco.
