Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Ilmar Mamedyarov on
Monday said his country is attaching special importance on developing economic, political and cultural relations with Kuwait.
Speaking to KUNA, Mamedyarov expressed the hope that Azerbaijan would open an embassy in Kuwait during the coming summer.
He added that late president Haider Aliyev had signed a decision in this respect in the year 2002 but it could not
be fulfilled due to financial reasons.
Furthermore, he urged Kuwait to open an embassy in Azerbaijan to further boost bilateral relations between both countries. (Albawaba.com)
