Austria will assist Egypt in upgrading its telecom institutions, reported Al Ahram daily on Saturday.
The agreement was reached Friday during a meeting in Cairo between Egyptian and Austrian telecom officials, said the paper, adding that Austria pledged to train Egyptian students in the fields of IT and technology.
The agreement comes within the framework of the “scientific and educational agreement signed between the two countries,” said the paper – Albawaba.com
