Audi A5 now available with 2.0 TFSI engine
• New engine for the Audi Coupe
• High performance and less fuel consumption
Audi Middle East is adding a new engine to the Audi A5 Coupe line up. The A5, which so far has only been offered as a 3.2 quattro, is now also available with a 2.0 TFSI engine coupled with a seven-speed dual clutch S tronic transmission and the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. The 2.0 TFSI gasoline engine features state-of-the-art technologies: FSI direct fuel injection, the Audi valvelift system for the variable control of valvelift, and turbocharging. The driver notices the effect in the form of instant development of torque, increased performance and reduced fuel consumption, which proves that efficiency and dynamic performance are not mutually exclusive, but rather build on one another.
The Audi A5 2.0 TFSI comes with an attractive range of standard equipment and an output of 155 kW (211 hp) and 350 Nm of torque over a wide range between 1,500 and 4,200 rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and can keep going up to a top speed of 245 km/h. The average fuel economy of 7.4 liters of fuel per 100 km testifies to the high efficiency. The Audi A5 2.0 TFSI quattro is now available at Audi Saudi Arabia starting from USD 54,495.
The engine has so far convinced more than 1.3 million buyers worldwide, as well as the experts: Just a few days ago, an international jury of journalists awarded the four-cylinder unit the title of “Engine of the Year” in its class for the fifth year in a row.
