The Second Emirates Giants Endurance Championship is scheduled to be held on Sunday March 3rd, at the Federation Endurance Village in Seih Assalem, according to WAM.
A statement issued by the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation (ERF) said that more than 30 riders would compete for a cash prize of Dhs 275,000. The 122-kilometer ride is due to be run in five stages of 32 km., 29 km., 26 km., 19 km. and 16 km. for horses aged six and above.
A Mercedes will await the rider who finishes first, a BMW for the second placed rider and a land cruiser for the third. The fourth rider will bag in Dhs 60,000, and the fifth placed rider an amount of Dhs 50,000 apart from several other cash prizes.
An additional land cruiser has been set aside for the First Best Conditioned Horse with additional cash prizes worth Dhs 47,000. (Albawaba.com)
