ALBAWABA -Syria's Ministry of Interior condemned the criminal attack that targeted a security checkpoint in the western countryside of Sweida, SANA news agency reported on Wednesday.
According to the official Syrian media outlet, the attack, which was carried out by outlaw groups, resulted in the death of one member and the injury of two others while they were performing their duty.
The ministry said in a statement on Telegram that its units fired back at the armed group, resulting in deaths and injuries.
Furthermore, the Interior Ministry stressed that these attacks are aimed solely at destabilizing security and the lives of civilians in the Suwaida governorate.
