According to JANA, the Assistant Secretary of the General People's Committee for Foreign Liaison and International Co-operation met Tuesday morning in Tripoli with Foreign Minister of Malawi, Davis Katsonga, the personal envoy of the Malawian President, who conveyed a letter to the Leader of the Revolution from President, Bingn wa Mutharika, of Malawi.
The Foreign Minister of Malawi expressed during the meeting, which was attended by the Director of the African Department at the General People's Committee for Foreign Liaison and International Co-operation and the ambassador of Malawi to the Great Jamahiriya, the appreciation of the Malawian President and people for the aid and support provided by the Great Jamahiriya to Malawi in various fields of cooperation. He also expressed profound appreciation of the role exerted by the Leader Muammar Al-Gathafi to establish constructive relations based on mutual respect and understanding and his serious action to maintain stability peace and development to all people of the world.
