Syrian President Bashar Al Assad, who arrived in Oman on Saturday, will discuss the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian clashes with Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak in Egypt next week, presidential sources said on Saturday, reported Reuters.
The meeting was expected to take place on Wednesday or Thursday in Cairo or the Red Sea coast resort of Sharm El Sheikh.
It will be the second visit to Egypt for Assad. The first was in October.
