Palestinian man was shot inside the Turkish Embassy in Tel Aviv on Tuesday (Aug. 17) where he had gone to demand political asylum in Ankara. The man was brought to Tel Aviv's IchilovHospital and treated for light injuries. The man was identified as Nadim Injaz of Ramallah. Turkish officials did not allow Israel police to enter the building during the incident. Injaz carried a flammable liquid; while inside the embassy he stated he "will kill any Jew that enters."
Israeli reports confirm that Injaz has worked with Israeli security in the past.[6] He is reportedly wanted by Palestinian officials for collaborating with Israel and treason.
