On Wednesday, Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani received a message from Palestinian President Yasser Arafat dealing with recent developments in the Palestinian territories.
According to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the message was conveyed by Palestinian Minister of planning and international cooperation, Nabil Shaath when the Emir received him at his Diwan office earlier Wednesday.
The reception was attended by Qatari foreign minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor al Thani, Chief of the Emiri Diwan Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Saud al Thani, director of the Arab affairs at the foreign ministry Saif Moqaddam al-Buenein and Palestinian Ambassador to the State Yasin al-Sharif.
