Arabian Center witnesses 25 per cent increase in footfall during first two weeks of DSF 2010

The Arabian Center, the latest hotspot for shopping, leisure and entertainment located on Al Khawaneej Road, Dubai, has witnessed a surge in footfall through the first half of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2010. The exciting offers and events at the mall have attracted shoppers with a 25 per cent increase in footfall at the mall. This has resulted in a 20 per cent increase in sales. As a key sponsor of DSF 2010, the mall has been hosting an assortment of promotions and activities for shoppers to relish.

Commenting on the positive response during DSF 2010, Mr. Tim Jones, COO, Arabian Center, said, “The response during these first couple of weeks have been very positive. We are pleased by the outcome of the promotions and activities that have been ongoing at Arabian Center. The efforts by the DSF committee and Arabian Center have paid off with commendable sales figures.”

DSF 2010 at the Arabian Center is doubly exciting with the amazing shop-and-win offers. Shoppers spending AED 200/- at any of the outlets in Arabian Center will be eligible to participate in the draw that could win them a Nissan four-wheel-drive daily and up to four Nissans on weekends. A total of 43 Nissan saloons and four-wheel-drives will be given away during the month-long festival. 

The activities include cultural dances from all over the globe including Turkey, India, Serbia and Greece. Also in the lineup are carnival drummers, comic dance performances, Mr. Wind Show, and Street Musicians. There will also be an enjoyable workshop for children, ‘Souris Mini Toy Factory’ where they can let their creative juices flow and make their own toys from scratch.
