Alongside the recently revealed Nissan Xterra, Arabian Automobiles Co. (AAC), exclusive dealer of Nissan in Dubai and Northern Emirates, is holding a special display at the Nissan stand for the duration of the Sharjah Motor Show ending on November 18.

Leading off the special display is the record-setting Nissan Altima, used to set the 24 hour endurance drive record. The Altima set eleven records for one hour, two hours, six hours, 12 hours and 24 hours as well as for 100km, 200km, 500km, 1000km, 1500km and the final distance of 2223km. The vehicles that achieved the record came in showroom specifications without any modifications, and have proved Altima’s durability in the hottest month of the year.

The official car of the recently concluded UAE Desert Challenge is also on display, complete with full Desert Challenge gear and stickers. The Nissan Patrol has been chosen as the official vehicle for the UAE Desert Challenge for the third year running, a testament to its strength and reliability in the GCC’s harshest terrain.

Finally, the cut-roof Pathfinder is also on display at the Nissan and AAC stand, showcasing the spaciousness of the Pathfinder and the safety of its body-zone construction.

“We have quite a few attractions on our stand this year” commented Michel I. Ayat, general manager at Arabian Automobiles. “The ever popular Altima sedan and Patrol SUV, and a very special display of the Pathfinder have already got people talking.”

In addition to the indoor display, visitors can also enjoy an off-road test drive on a specially created outdoor track with the Nissan Patrol, Armada and Murano.
