Continuing its annual tradition, AlQasr Metropole Hotel is getting ready for the enjoyable Ramadan rituals with its Iftar and Sahra gatherings at the open air Courtyard garden that customers have come to expect over the past 15 years. Ramadan at The Courtyard has always possessed a distinctive flavor, infused with that special Ramadan ambiance, and imbued with the serenity of the holy month.
Unlike previous years, guests will be able to enjoy Ramadan outdoors, lulled by the soft summer breeze and the melodies of the Oriental “takhet”. Complimenting the mood is its mouth-watering buffets planned to tease and appease the appetite. The menu will include various Arab and western appetizers, main meals like lamb and fish, in addition to international cuisine such as Japanese sushi, Italian pasta, and French meats. Customers can also indulge their sweet tooth with the delicious and delectable Arab and western sweets, prepared live to meet all tastes.
Children are also kept in mind, with a special area designated just for them during Iftar, equipped with toys from the Early Learning Center (ELC), so that they can also share in the fun of Ramadan.
The Courtyard decorations for this Ramadan stand out, inspired as they are by Islamic Arab heritage to include maxims and songs in Arabic script drawn on cloth by professional Egyptian calligraphers, brought in from Cairo especially for this year’s Ramadan preparations.
Exceptional evenings at the Courtyard, will include entertaining folkloric and traditional musical performances by celebrated singer Essam Irsheid and his band, in addition to the card tricks and “tarneeb” competition that are regular fixtures on AlQasr Metropole Hotel’s Ramadan program.
It is important to note that AlQasr Metropole Hotel will allocate 10 percent of its Ramadan profits for charity, as it has done in previous years.
