ALBAWABA - Erem News reported that a hacking group under the name Anonymous Sudan has claimed successfully hacking into a major Israeli mobile services network.

Metrics from Israel mobile operator 012 Smile/Partner Telecom indicate an interruption to the network, supporting user complaints of outages, according to NetBlocks.org.

"Hacking group Anonymous Sudan has claimed the incident as part of its wave of denial of service attacks on prominent Israeli targets," NetBlocks said in a post over X.

An issue with a mobile phone network in Israel was first discovered by the NetBlocks website, which specializes in tracking issues with mobile phone networks.

According to the website, the Anonymous Sudan hacker group launched the cyber attack as a part of a campaign to cut down services to well-known Israeli targets.

It is worth mentioning that the famous hacking group has earlier acknowledged that they were behind the cyber attack on Israel's Mossad internal security agency.
