British tabloid, The Sun, reported, earlier this week that the duo are scheduled to tie the knot next week in Malibu; however, reps for the couple deny the story, said Mr.Showbiz.com.
“These stories happen every two weeks,” Pitt’s rep told Mr. Showbiz, adding, for the record, “It’s not true.”
For now, one major cause for celebration for the 31-year-old Aniston is her Emmy nomination for best supporting actress for her work on Friends.
Speculation about Pitt and Aniston’s on-again, off-again wedding plans has been a regular feature of gossip columns for several months.
Pitt, 36, has starred in several movies, including Fight Club, Seven and Legends of the Fall. Aniston debuted on Friends in 1994 and will continue to chat with her buddies in the coffee shop on NBC this fall.
Meanwhile, alarming reached Pitt on Thursday, when the actor was informed that a former stalker has failed to show up at two of her court hearings, according to Reuters.
Twenty one year-old Athena Marie Rolando was placed on probation after sneaking into Pitt’s home and falling asleep in his bed. Rolando had pleaded no contest to misdemeanor trespassing charges in February of 1999 and was placed on three years probation and ordered to undergo psychological counseling in connection with the incident.
For now, police are looking for Rolando after Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Melvin Sandvig issued a warrant for her arrest after she failed for the second time to appear in court for a progress hearing on the counseling sessions.
Rolando, an aspiring actress from Billings, Mont., was arrested in January of 1999 after climbing into Pitt’s home through a rear window, putting on his clothes and falling asleep in a bed.
Officers found her carrying a book on witchcraft, along with a note to the 36-year-old Hollywood hunk and a large safety pin decorated with colored ribbons that she said was a doll. She told officers that she had spent about 10 hours in Pitt’s home while the star of ‘Fight Club’ was away and put on his clothes because she was cold—albawaba.com (various sources).
