Amricon's SMART Document is a globally patented solution that ensures document protection and allows for verification of authenticity using state-of the art Radio Frequency Identification Technology (RFID) enabling the easy and secure storing of critical authentication information. Amricon's Hand Held Document Authentication Solution was introduced in recognition of the need to add mobility to SMART Document, so that inspectors of any authority can check information related to a particular document off-site in just 3 seconds via PDAs that carry the enhanced mobility software from Amricon.

The Hand Held Document Authentication Solution from Amricon enables of the process of accessing and verifying information remotely notwithstanding database connectivity. This is achieved using a handheld PDA equipped with a special reader card making the device portable while still retaining all of the security features of the traditional office-based system; and the verifier software which allows secure reading of the information on the smart chip attached to the document. Verification is done by running Amricon's mobile software and presenting the PDA’s RFID reader card to the chip attached to the SMART Document; the software reads the data stored in the chip and compares the digital signature of the data with that of the organization in 3 seconds or less.
