ALUM AHDAF SOUEIF TO SPEAK AT AUC

A lecture by AUC alum Ahdaf Soueif, as part of the In Translation Lecture series hosted by AUC’s Center for Translation Studies.

WHO
Ahdaf Soueif, author of the bestselling The Map of Love (shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 1999), In the Eye of the Sun (1992), and a collection of short stories, I Think of You (2007). Described by the London Review as “a political analyst and commentator of the best kind,” Soueif also translated Mourid Barghouti’s I Saw Ramallah (2004) from Arabic into English.
