ALHOSN University, a leading Abu Dhabi-based university dedicated to high quality, value-based education, facilitated meetings between its students and alumni and leading employers during its recently held 1st Annual Career Fair at its premises.
The fair provided a platform for ALHOSN students and alumni to network with local and regional industry leaders, learn about available career opportunities, and explore various internship and/or training prospects. Participating companies and organizations were able to provide career information about their organization, identify potential recruits, and increase their visibility among students, alumni, and the entire ALHOSN community. Applicants focused on opportunities in Engineering and Applied Sciences, Business, and Arts and Social Sciences, which form the core of ALHOSN’s academic programs.
“Regional governments, in addition to the UAE, have moved swiftly to protect their workforce from the downturn through initiatives such as the establishment of enhanced legal rights for employees and lighter laws for job transfers. The region thus remains one of the top employment destinations in the Middle East. ALHOSNUniversity also had the chance to learn more about the real needs of the evolving regional and international job markets. We can ensure that our programs remain competitive and allow us to deliver graduates who are ready to make immediate impacts when they enter the workforce,” said Ms Mahasen Al Mahasneh, Academic & Student Counselor/ Students Activities Coordinator, ALHOSNUniversity.
