Algeria's President, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, re-elected for a second term of office last April 8th, took the oath Monday before the people. This swearing-in ceremony was held at the Nations Palace (Algiers) in the presence of senior executives of the nation's highest authorities.
According to APS, the official ceremony was attended by Nations Council Chairman, Abdelkader Bensalah, Parliament Chairman Karim Younes, Head of Government Ahmed Ouyahia, Constitutional Council Chairman Mohamed Bedjaoui and Lieutenant General Mohamed Lamari, as well as government members.
