Algerian Maestro dead

The director of Algeria's Higher Institute of Music, Maestro Boukhari Mougari, on a working mission in France, died Monday evening in Bastia following a heart attack, APS reported. The late, suddenly dead in front of the rehearsal hall, was about to direct the orchestra of the Mediterranean youth.  

 

Conductor of a great talent who directed many concerts "with soul, passion and enthusiasm," had made its first studies at Algiers National Institute of Music where he graduated.  

 

Once the diploma in hand, Late Boukhari flown to ex Soviet Union (USSR) where he studies hard to get a doctorate in conducting orchestras, with specialising in violin. Member of the Algerian committee of the Music Academy, the late had been for 7 years at the head of the National Institute of Music.(
