The Algerian junior football team (under 21) finished in 4th place in the International Friendly Tournament for juniors, held in Qatar. According to <i>Liberate Algeria</i>, the team's coach, Abdelhak Benchikha, has stated that the team was on the right path and that the players have huge potential. However, he added there was still a lot of work to do.
In order bring the young Algerian players to the international level, he explained, "we need to invest more in our junior players and encourage promising youngsters. Benchikha also thanked the Algerian community in Qatar for all their help and support during the tournament.
