Sheikh Hamoud bin Abdullah al Harthy, President of the Oman State Council received at his office Sunday Abdul Aziz Balkhadim, Algerian Foreign Affairs Minister and his accompanying delegation.
Sheikh Al Harthy hailed the excellent ties between the Omani Sultanate and the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria.
The meeting reviewed a number of Arab and international issues of joint interest, according to Oman News Agency.
Sheikh al Harthy briefed the Algerian Minister on the Council's march in the context of the bicameral system and the State Council structure.
For their part, the members of the Algerian delegation expressed their admiration of the Council performance.
The Algerian ambassador to the Sultanate attended the meeting. (Albawaba.com)
