Morocco's King Mohammed VI "is firmly committed to edification of the Maghreb Union (UMA)," said on Tuesday Algerian foreign minister, Abdelaziz Belkhadem, who conveyed the monarch a message from President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. In a statement to the press, following a meeting with the Moroccan leader in Marrakesh, Belkhadem said he sensed strong commitment of the king to the building of the Maghreb Union and the establishment of privileged and excellent relations between the two countries, MAP reported.
