ALBAWABA - A couple of weeks after the death of prominent Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny, according to close family members, Navalny's funeral has been set to be held on Friday at a church in Moscow.
"Alexei's funeral will be held in a church ... in Maryino on 1 March at 14:00 (1100 GMT). Come in advance," his team said in a social media post on Wednesday.
On February 16th, Navalny passed away while in custody in Russia, after experiencing a decline in health and lost consciousness. Despite efforts by medical staff, Navalny's condition did not improve, leading to his death.
