ALBAWABA - Al-Qassam Brigades carried out a multipronged attack close to the Al-Da'wa Mosque in eastern Rafah through a series of synchronized tactical maneuvers.
They used a TBG shell to attack a fortified building that was housing a number of soldiers. Al-Qassam also used a Yassin 105 round to hit a military vehicle that was positioned below the building. There were also casualties among the forces after an anti-personnel shell was fired at a group of soldiers that were close to the truck.
Concurrently, an Israeli occupation army was caught in an ambush orchestrated by Al-Qassam Brigades. This calculated action came after a pre-arranged minefield inside the Saad Sayel Barracks complex, which is situated east of Rafah, was detonated. The Israeli force suffered casualties as a result of the ambush.
Al-Qassam Brigades also damaged another Israeli military vehicle close to the Saad Sayel Barracks, further south. The vehicle that was being targeted burst into flames after being hit by a Yassin 105 shell.
The "Isnad Sofa" military location was the target of a flurry of short-range "Rajoum" rockets fired by Al-Qassam Brigades.
Severe fighting between Israeli forces and Al-Qassam fighters was reported in the Gaza City area of Zaytoun. The Israeli "Merkava 4" tank was destroyed by a Yassin 105 shell fired by Al-Qassam Brigades precisely targeting a location in the southern Zaytoun sector of Gaza City.
Another Israeli "Merkava" tank was destroyed by the weaponry of the Al-Qassam Brigades at Rafah, further east. The battle in the Abu Halawa region grew more intense after a Yassin 105 shell struck the tank.
In addition, the "Karm Abu Salim Military" location east of Rafah was inundated by heavy-caliber mortar bombs.
Izzat al-Rishq, a member of Hamas' political bureau, denounced the Israeli occupation's ceaseless assault amid the escalating, emphasizing the humanitarian situation that its actions in Rafah and the occupation of the Rafah border crossing have exacerbated. He highlighted the effects on more than two million Palestinians, whose access to basic assistance and healthcare has been severely curtailed.
