ALBAWABA - Al-Qassam Brigades announced that a large number of Israeli soldiers were killed after detonating explosive devices at a position of 60 soldiers east of Juhr al-Dik, Gaza.

The Hamas military wing said in a statement: "At dawn today, Al-Qassam fighters were able to monitor the positioning of dozens of occupation soldiers (60 soldiers) inside tents at their positioning point east of Juhr Al-Dik."

The statement continues: "The Mujahideen planted 3 anti-personnel bombs in a circular pattern around the position, and at 4:30 am the bombs were detonated and one of the mujahideen advanced to finish off the remaining members of the force. Al-Qassam fighters returned to their positions safely."

Israel renewed its airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Friday following a 7-day truce between the Israeli Government and the Hamas military group in which both parties exchanged hostages.

Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel

Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.

Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip and captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.

In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
