ALBAWABA- In a coordinated attack, Al-Qassam fighters ambushed Israeli soldiers, resulting in the deaths of three soldiers and severe injuries to four others. The incident occurred when the fighters lured the soldiers into a booby-trapped building in Rafah and detonated explosives.

The ambush targeted a special forces unit attempting to infiltrate Al-Awda Mosque based on intelligence about prisoners in the area. The explosion caught the Israeli force off guard, leading to significant casualties.

Al-Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that their fighters executed the operation, causing both deaths and injuries among the Israeli forces.

Additionally, the Brigades reported bombing Zionist forces in the vicinity of the Rabaa al-Adawiya neighborhood with 107 short-range missiles.

In a separate attack, Al-Qassam targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in the Al-Alami area, north of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip. This action resulted in seven additional injuries.

Israeli media confirmed the incident, reporting casualties among their soldiers in Rafah.
