A woman charged with adultery was executed by al-Qaeda's Syria wing, al-Nusra Front, outside the city of Idlib, according to a report by Reuters.

Rami Abdulrahman, director of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, stated that the travesty was captured on film.  The woman, dressed in black with a red jacket, fell before a group of men apparently from the al-Nusra front, begging to see her children before she was killed.

Abdulrahman told Reuters that  presently al-Nusra Front controls roughly 70-80 percent of the Idlib, and that they, along with Daesh, have become the most powerful insurgent force in Syria since the start of the conflict four years ago.
