The Al Noor Center for Children with Special Needs is making history in the real estate industry by contributing their students’ artwork to professionally designed and furnished homes in the UAE.

“Our children are very talented and until now, the recognition in the local community for their work has been limited. The opportunity for our students to be a part of such luxurious and professionally designed homes is wonderful. This is the first time that the children themselves are wholly involved in a project that is designed to give them the recognition that they deserve,” said Isphana Al Khatib, Director of the Al Noor Center.

The children’s paintings will be overseen by their art tutor at the Al Noor Center, who will work alongside Asteco’s Design and Furnishing Department. Each painting chosen to be showcased will be printed and included in every residence within a particular project that Asteco’s design team is furnishing – be it an entire building or an individual villa. For every purchase of an Asteco design and furnishings package, an Al Noor piece of artwork will be included.

“At Asteco, we are committed to giving back to a community that we have been a part of for 22 years. However, we wanted to be innovative with this project and involve the children as much as possible. By giving them the opportunity to create unique pieces of art, we are putting the spotlight entirely on their artistic talents,” says Kerrin Matthey, Head of Design and Furnishing Solutions, Asteco Property Management.

Asteco’s furnished and designed projects differ in style and concept ranging from Asian and European to traditional or contemporary. The artwork created by Al Noor Center’s children will be chosen to fit with the theme composed for each project, show apartment, individual villa or apartment by Asteco’s design team.

The Al Noor Center for Children with Special Needs is supported by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai and the benefaction of HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein.

Founded in Dubai in 1985, Asteco is the UAE’s largest property services company. Its services include retail, commercial and residential sales and leasing; strategic consultancy; property management and marketing; feasibility studies and valuations; and research and investment.
