Al-Markazia introduces the Lexus LS600h to the Jordanian Market

(Amman, 4th May, 2010) Al-Markazia Central Trade and Auto Company, the exclusive dealer of Lexus vehicles in the Kingdom, launched the Lexus LS600h luxury hybrid car to the Jordanian market.
The new LS600h hybrid powertrain system uniquely combines a 5.0-liter V8 gasoline engine with two powerful electric motors and a large-capacity battery pack.  The hybrid powertrain generates a peak combined output rating of 395 horsepower and can effortlessly accelerate the LS 600h from zero-to-100 Kmph in just 5.5 seconds and with a maximum speed of 250 Kmph.  Mid-range acceleration is even more impressive, as the system's electric motor is capable of delivering maximum torque on demand and is most beneficial during passing manoeuvres.
The hybrid powertrain system makes the LS600h one of the most environmentally-friendly vehicles out there. The car meets the Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle II (SULEV II) certification, consuming only a gallon of fuel for every 21 miles.
The LS600h also enjoys a host of intelligence systems that make it a highly secure vehicle. The Adaptive Cruise Control, for example, automatically adjusts a car's speed to a preset value specified by the driver to maintain a proper distance between vehicles in the same lane. The vehicle’s Advanced Pre-Crash System (APCS) uses two small cameras mounted at the front of the car that work in conjunction with millimeter-wave radar to detect moving objects prior to collision. The system warns the driver and initiates a series of fully automatic security measures, such as preparing the car’s braking system, adjusting the driver’s seat to a safer position and tightening the seat belt to minimize potential injury.  
The five-seat interior of the LS600h also breathes with luxury and comfort, featuring spacious measurements of 5.18 in length, 1.87m in width and 1.48m in height. The car also comes with many outstanding features, such as Smart Access with push-button start and card key, an Advanced Parking Guidance System, as well as Bluetooth, GPS and many others.
The LS600h is currently available at the showroom of Al-Markazia Central Trade and Auto Company in Mecca Street.
