Hosts Special Families Support (SFS) Group Activity
The Al Bustan Rotana Dubai emphasized its strong commitment towards social responsibility as the hotel recently welcomed and hosted more than fifty special children from the UAE’s Special Families Support Group (SFS).
The children with special needs were treated to a fun artistic day at the hotel’s Grand Rashidiya Ballroom as Al Bustan Rotana’s internationally awarded head kitchen artist, Chef Mark conducted painting and clay-modelling workshops for the kids. The children had fun making their own colourful masterpieces as Chef Mark roamed around to teach them basic patterns and techniques. They also enjoyed a buffet of snacks especially prepared by the hotel’s chefs. This event is part of the summer activities organized by SFS, an organization that has existed since 1999 offering support to families with special children in the UAE.
Commenting on the said activity, Al Bustan Rotana’s General Manager Detlef Winter said, “It is our pleasure to host these amazing kids in the hotel, and it’s such a heart-warming experience to see them all smiling and having fun. As a company, it is one of our priorities to give something back to the community and this activity is indeed an excellent opportunity for us to strengthen our position towards being socially-responsible.
