Al Aan TV has revealed its great success in boosting up its reach among target audience since its launch in August 2006. Based on Ipsos Stat conducted in KSA, the channel’s reach in April increased by 23% compared to March 2010 and by 1204 % compared to the same month last year. Where the channel’s TRPs jumped by 738% comparing to the same period last year. As for the target Arab Females, the reach increased by 802% compared to the same month last year. The channel TRPs compared to April 2009 also achieved a significant increase of 553%. As for UAE, the reach of the channel has increased by 13% compared to March 2010 for total Arab audience and by 276% compared to the same month last year. Where the channel’s TRPs comparing to April 2009 attained a significant increase of 207%. The reach of the channel raised by 19% compared to March 2010 and by 32% compared to the same month last year among Arab female viewers. As for the channel TRPs also it raised by 18% compared to March 2010. Regarding the ratings, the channel is ranked the 7th in UAE among Arab female audience and the 12th in KSA. Our audience had clearly demonstrated their love of our original programming and especially the new shows that we have introduced through the past year which got great feedback and high viewership". Earlier this year, Al Aan TV launched a new season of Al Saudiyyat Gheir “Saudi Women are different” in a new format anchored by the Saudi presenter Maha Al Shalabi. The Channel also introduced big shows topping them ”Amira” the first of its kind in the Middle East that aims at empowering Arab women and hosting high-profiled Arab celebrities to highlight on the humanitarian and social parts of their lives. Amira Al Fadl who has over 17 years experience in Radio and TV was assigned to present "Amira" show. Al Aan also launched "Haifa Al Aan", a fitness show presented by the renowned sports and media figure Haifa Haddad. As a part of the channel's strategy to present new and unique quality of programs targeting the gulf market, Al Aan had launched "Hayyakum", a daily morning show presented by Saudi presenter Ghada Musalli.
