Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday that the enemies of the Iranian nation should know that the nation will not withdraw from its peaceful nuclear activities.
Addressing a local gathering, he said, "Iran's nuclear case is closed from our point of view." The enemies are trying to impose their views while the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has explicitly announced that there has been no deviation in Iran's peaceful nuclear program, the Iranian leader noted.
"Following the recent IAEA report, the Europeans have taken appropriate stand regarding Iran's nuclear program. The Easterners and the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) members have also accepted peaceful nature of the Iranian nuclear activities.
"There are only few states that do not understand the truth. They believe that they can make the Iranian nation withdraw from its stands," Ahmadinejad emphasized.
According to IRNA, he insisted that the Iranian nation is fond of logic and dialogue but it does not negotiate with anyone on its legitimate rights. "The Iranian nation is progressing toward development and enemies will not be able to harm it," said the president.
