Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday congratulated the Iranian nation on the country's "great victory" over getting clean health bill from the UN nuclear agency on February 22. In a message to the Iranian nation, cited by IRNA, the Iranian leader said "perseverance of the great nation made the government use all potentials to restore rights of the nation in the area of nuclear energy at national and international arena."

He added that the attempts made by the "bullying and extremist powers" were vain and the Iranian nation could reach zenith of victory despite all pressures. The national campaign has turned to a good lesson for all independent and peace-loving nations throughout the world, he said.

Ahmadinejad said that the world nations should know that they must stand firm to thwart the "hegemonist policies of big powers."

Commenting on efforts made by the enemies to prevent victory of the Iranian nation in the area of "peaceful" nuclear activities, the president said the International Atomic Energy Agency, the legal world body, has verified non-diversion of Iran's nuclear program.
