Agreement signed to formulate joint plan for integrated facility management solutions
Imdaad, a Dubai World company, has signed an agreement with DP World’s UAE Region to provide strategic facility management solutions for all the buildings, assets and projects of the marine terminal operator.
According to the 10-year agreement, the two parties will formulate a joint plan to manage all assets and facilities of DP World’s UAE Region. The services under the agreement include periodical maintenance of electrical, air-conditioning and ventilation systems, utilities, building survey, management of accidental damages, provision of technical support and waste management. To ensure customer satisfaction, the operations will be managed by a highly trained customer response center round-the-clock.
Mr. Jamal Abdulla Lootah, CEO of Imdaad, said: “This agreement is the result of the close co-operation between the two Dubai World entities to provide quality services according to the highest international standards. It will help in preparing a joint plan to manage the assets and facilities of DP World’s UAE Region in a way that enhances customer satisfaction.”
Mr. Lootah added that the agreement will highlight Imdaad’s increasing role in the UAE, particularly in Dubai, “in providing facility management services, which is generating wide interest among real estate developers and managements of integrated industrial, commercial and residential complexes, airports, free zones, ports and other similar projects.”
