Agility Defense & Government Services (DGS) today announced that it has been awarded a third successive one-year contract on the US Army's Heavy Lift VI contract. Under the new contract, Agility will continue to provide transportation services for military personnel and supplies.
The extension was awarded by the US Army Sustainment Command DCMA and continues Agility's engagement for Heavy Lift VI through June 30, 2009. The maximum value of the work that Agility is obligated to perform under this new contract is US$ 200 Million and the minimum value is US$ 20 Million. The US Army may at its discretion request Agility to undertake additional work if the maximum value of the contract is exceeded.
