Adyard Abu Dhabi LLC (Adyard), a subsidiary of Topaz Energy and Marine Ltd. has announced that it has received an additional contract worth AED 11 million from French environmental organisation Violia Water. The contract, Adyard’s second inside 12 months, was awarded for their exceptional standards, measured against key quality and safety performance indicators, achieved during their previous project.

Under the terms of the agreement, Adyard has been appointed for the construction engineering, fabrication and load out of a Sulphate Removal Package (SRP).  The contract award comes hard on the heels of the successful completion of a similar contract last year, which was delivered on time. Adyard and Violia Water were both equally proud of the excellent safety statistics for the previous project.

The structural fabrication work will commence shortly with the expected delivery date due before the end of 2007 and the work will be carried at Adyard’s engineering facilities in Abu Dhabi.
Violia Water, the water division of Violia Environment, is a global leader in water and wastewater services and one of the world's major designers of technological solutions and constructor of facilities needed in water and wastewater services.
Speaking about the SRP contract Jim Masterton, General Manager, Adyard, said, “We are pleased to be awarded our second contract with Violia Water. This clearly demonstrates our capabilities in a very competitive market where client expectations to deliver safely, on time and within budget, are critical.”

Based in Dubai, Topaz Energy and Marine is one of the U.A.E.’s largest Oil & Gas service companies.
