ADI to supply the latest GE Healthcare diagnostic imaging equipment to HMC’s new facility in Dubai Healthcare City

Abu Dhabi International Medical Services (ADI), a leading supplier of medical equipment in the UAE and the GE Healthcare authorized diagnostic imaging equipment dealer, today announced the signing of an AED 25 million contract with Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Center (HMC), providers of world-class healthcare services, to supply, install and maintain GE Healthcare state-of-the-art high performance radiology systems at HMC’s upcoming multi-specialty medical center at Dubai Healthcare City. The announcement was made at a press conference held at the Emirates Towers Hotel.

Abu Dhabi International Medical Services supplies products of world renowned medical equipment companies and is set to become a leading global provider of discovery and development services and products for the pharmaceutical, Healthcare, IT and medical industry.

As per the contract with Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Center, ADI will supply GE Healthcare advanced medical imaging technologies, ranging from the globally renowned LightSpeed 64-slice CT (Computed Tomography) scanner to GE’s 1.5 Tesla MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), Mammography and Ultrasound systems, leveraging GE’s Centricity® Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving Communications (PACS) systems.

HMC is now under its new company called ‘Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Center Group’, which is investing more than AED 150 million in establishing a multi-specialty medical center at Dubai Healthcare City. The facility will be capable of treating 800 patients per day with a minimum of 120 doctors. The Center will supplement the healthcare infrastructure for not only the UAE, but also holds the promise to become the central healthcare hub for the entire Middle-East region.
