Abu Dhabi and France have announced plans to loan Morocco $70 million and 24 million euros, respectively, Morocco’s official news agency MAP reported on Wednesday.
The Abu Dhabi Development Fund on Wednesday loaned Morocco $70 million to finance the construction of 520km-long road along the Mediterranean coast.
Meanwhile, the French embassy in Rabat said in a press release that France would loan Morocco 24 million euros to back the North African country’s program to build rural roads.
The loan accord will be signed between the Moroccan agency for the development of northern zones and the French Development Agency, said MAP – Albawaba.com
