Informed political sources in the Jordanian capital Amman revealed to Albawaba.com that the resigning Jordan premier Ali Abu al Ragheb is more likely to reform the new government. This closes the doors in front of another figure to head the first government in the new millenium.
Earlier this morning the Jordan premier Ali Abu al Ragheb submitted the resignation of his government to King Abdulla II without any further details.
The sources added that three prominent ministers including Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Awad Khlaifat, Foreign Minster, Abdelelah al Khatib and Minister of State, Eid al Fayez would unlikely join the forthcoming cabinet.
Observers believe that the formation of the new government whether to be headed by Abu al Ragheb or anybody else aims at infusing new blood and improving the economic performance. It is noteworthy to mention that the Jordanian government submitted its resignation only one day after approving the 2002 budget. - Albawaba.com
