Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors – Hyundai appointed A'ayan Saudi Leasing (A'ayan) as its official distributor in the whole of Saudi Arabia, as per an agreement signed by both parties yesterday in Jeddah.
Under the agreement, A'ayan will keep on getting Hyundai cars to offer the vehicles to its clients for operational leasing.
The deal was signed on behalf of A'ayan by its CEO, Engineer Imad Saleh Rajab, and on behalf of Naghi-Hyundai by its Executive Director Mr. Hazm Jamjoom. Witnessing the ceremony were A’ayan executives Mohammad Feras Wafaey, Director of Operational Leasing and Mohammad Tareq Mousa, Marketing Manager; as well as Naghi-Hyundai representatives Ahmed Murtaza Alsayoufi, Wholesale Regional Manager; and Abdullah Al Montashari, Marketing General Manager.
Engineer Rajab says the deal will further boost A’ayan’s operational leasing business, while at the same time contribute to the success of Naghi-Hyundai. "This agreement will promote our long lasting mutual cooperation in the area of operational leasing which started when we launched our business in January 2009.”
He added: "Hyundai occupies a privileged position in the Saudi market in view of its proven reliability in operation, and has a broad range of vehicle models that meet the requirements of all consumers. In view of our showrooms and maintenance centers in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Jubail, Yanbu, Makkah and Medina, we are able to provide excellent services to those who want to rent Hyundai cars. "
Equally important, according to Engineer Rajab, A'ayan’s business is compatible with Islamic Sharia laws, with all of its transactions having been approved by the Shura for Sharia Consulting.
Meanwhile, Jamjoom affirmed the importance of the appointment by Mohammed Yousuf Naghi - Hyundai of A'ayan as official distributors of Hyundai cars across Saudi Arabia, and said: "A'ayan enjoys the confidence of a broad segment of consumers in the Saudi market, which led us to choose the company to represent us in various areas of Saudi Arabia and to be one of our distribution channels for Hyundai vehicles in addition to Mohammad Yousuf Naghi Motors showrooms in various regions of kingdom. This is in addition to our high standards supporting services that we provide to our clients which enabled us to get the first place for spare parts services in the Middle East for three years in a row, and our ongoing development and expansion of our network of service centers.
For his part, Al Montashari said: "The wide range of Hyundai cars models and its competitive prices contributed significantly to our continued success over the past years, as well as launching of new models in 2010 such as Sonata and all new Tucson will enhance the success of both A'ayan and Mohammad Yousuf Naghi – Hyundai."
For his part, Murtaza Ahmed Alsayoufi Youssefi, Wholesale Regional Manager at Mohammad Yousuf Naghi - Hyundai said that the agreement should boost A’ayan’s business, which had a profitable year in 2009: "The public’s growing confidence and appreciation of Hyundai cars has led to increasing sales in general and to car rental sector in particular, which will enhance our mutual cooperation."
A'ayan launched its activity in operational leasing for individuals and companies in Saudi market last year. It offers car rental service with or without a driver, as well as rental of buses of various capacities from 15 - 30 - 55 passengers.
Wafaey pointed out that A’ayan also provides airport pick up services for individuals and groups, as well as umrah transportation in Jeddah, Makkah and Medina. “A'ayan has offices at various Saudi airports to be as close as possible to its customers, as well as to provide maintenance and after-sale services including providing of a substitute car to its client in case of vehicle failure. A'ayan likewise provides comprehensive insurance services, car withdrawal, special warranty, trading of used and new cars. The company is an authorized distributor for a number of car dealers in Saudi Arabia,” he added.
