Eight ex-Indian Navy officers sentenced to death in Qatar for allegedly spying for Israel.

Eight former Indian Navy officers, sentenced to death in Qatar, stand accused of spying for Israel. These men, employed by a private firm assisting the Qatari armed forces, included highly decorated officers who once commanded Indian warships.

Their arrest took place in August 2022, with charges of spying, espionage, and state-sponsored terrorism leveled against them. Reports suggest that the eight individuals were gathering intelligence for Qatar on a confidential naval endeavor.

These convicted men were affiliated with Dahra Global Technologies and Consultancy Services, a private company delivering training and various services to Qatar's armed forces.

Having been apprehended in Doha the previous year, these men are alleged to have engaged in espionage activities directed at Qatar's advanced submarines on behalf of Israel.
