As the Dubai Duty Free Summer Surprise promotions enter its sixth week, another winner of Dubai Duty Free shopping voucher weekly draw was announced at Sheikh Rashid Terminal of Dubai International. The AED 175,000 promotion continues to draw huge crowds of shoppers, a large number of them visitors from abroad, who have come to Dubai on their summer holidays.
This week, the weekly prize of AED 25,000 worth of shopping vouchers was won by¬¬¬¬¬¬ a French national Klaas Dijkstra, from Toulouse, France who held the winning coupon number 319317. Mr. Dijkstra is the President of Prodera – an Aerospace Testing company that supply modal analysis system worldwide. Mr. Dijkstra turned lucky through the raffle coupons he received for the purchase of some electronic items in Dubai Duty Free shop when he travelled from Islamabad back to his home country last 19 July.
The Dubai Duty Free Summer Surprise promotion has been hugely popular with residents and visitors alike with the number of coupons entering the draw increasing every week. This week draw was conducted by Dubai Duty Free officials namely: George Horan, Deputy Managing Director, Ramesh Cidambi, Director - IT & Logistics, Sinead El Sibai, Manager – Events, Advertising & Media Relations, Sean Staunton, Manager – Operations and Bernard Creed, Financial Controller.
As part of the promotion, shoppers at Dubai Duty Free get one raffle coupon for every 500 dirhams worth of purchases. Purchases made using MasterCard credit cards automatically receive two coupons for every five hundred dirhams.
