66 killed in fresh floods in Afghanistan

ALBAWABA - Fresh floods killed 66 people in Faryab province, northern Afghanistan, according to a regional official on Sunday, the country's most recent fatal flooding.

Heavy flooding in many regions of Faryab province occurred Saturday night, resulting in both human and financial damages. In a statement, Asmatullah Muradi, spokesman for Faryab governor, revealed that 66 people were murdered as a result of the floods.
