A 52-year-old man is currently standing trial at the criminal chamber of the Rabat court of appeal for suspected rape of an 11-year-old girl, Morocco's official news agency, Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP) reported.
The defendant, who is an Imam of a mosque in Rabat, is accused of having repeatedly raped the girl, his own friend’s daughter, MAP said, adding that the police have found in the suspect’s house several love letters destined to the girl whom he used to tempt by candies and money -- Albawaba.com
