The 4th edition of the visual arts exhibition titled “Mosaic of Summer” is underway in Rais Palace in Algiers. Famous painters such as Abdelkader Belkhourissat, Djahida Houadef, Ramdane Kacer, Noureddine Ferroukhi, Zoubir Hellal, Ali Grid and Nadira Laggoune are taking part in this event as well as young painters such as Rachid Benaida, Amel Benmohamed, Fariza Hallou, Hassiba and Lila Hocine. The organizers of the event noted that the aim of this exhibition is to familiarize the public with visual arts and to encourage young talents in this field.
<i>Liberte Algerie</i> reports that the exhibition, which will continue until September 14, also includes a series of conferences on various topics including a conference on “The state of contemporary art and the place of visual arts”.
