ALBAWABA- A powerful explosion on the western outskirts of Syria’s Idlib city killed at least four people and injured five others, according to the Syrian Ministry of Health. Ambulance teams and medical staff were placed on full alert following the blast.

Local sources said the explosion was triggered by an international coalition drone strike on an alleged ammunition depot used by Uzbek militants.

The strike reportedly set off a chain of secondary blasts, shaking nearby neighborhoods.

Initial investigations point to the targeted facility as the source of the massive explosion, which sent plumes of smoke over the city and left several buildings damaged.
