ALBAWABA - A report by Haaretz revealed that at least 36 Palestinian detainees from Gaza were killed in Sde Teiman prison following horrific detention conditions.
The report came as news emerged of severe abuses against Palestinian detainees at the notorious Sde Teiman facility since the start of Israel’s brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip, which led to the detention of 10 Israeli soldiers accused of being involved in the assault reports.
Israeli public broadcaster, KAN said confrontations erupted after Military Police investigators arrived at the detention facility to detain the soldiers, Anadolu Agency reported.
According to Israel's Army Radio, 10 soldiers were held for interrogation as part of an investigation into the violations committed against the Palestinian inmate.
According to a security source, the Palestinian inmate was carried to the hospital after suffering significant damage to an intimate body area, rendering him unable to walk.
Since the beginning of Israel's current attack on the Gaza Strip, there have been several claims of horrific abuses against Palestinian captives at the renowned facility.
Israel's Supreme Court is now reviewing a petition brought by Israeli human rights organizations to close the Sde Teiman prison, where Palestinian captives from Gaza experience torture and medical negligence.

Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel
Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.
Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip and captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.
In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
The latest statistics by the Ministry of Health in Gaza revealed that the death toll from Israeli brutal pounding on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has soared to 39,363+ people, with more than 90,923+ injuries.
Since then, approximately 85% of Gazans have been displaced, all of whom are suffering from severe food insecurity, and the healthcare system has collapsed. Hundreds of thousands of people lack shelter, and aid trucks are entering the area at a lower rate than before the conflict began.
